Black River Farm, where Whitmere is located, has outstanding facilities to suit every client's training needs and enjoyment. Places to ride include a spacious 185x200 outdoor ring with sand footing, an 85x180 indoor ring with state-of-the-art synthetic and sand footing (pictured below). The footing in each ring is expertly maintained and routinely dragged and raked.

In addition, riders have the option of hacking and jumping in Black River's outdoor jumping field, which covers several acres and features natural obstacles, hedges, ditches, and a multi-level bank jump. Riders also have access to many trails both on and off the property, and the farm is adjacent to the Tewksbury Trail System.

The turnout fields are spacious, grassy, and have excellent drainage for year-round turnout. Some of the smaller paddocks are pictured below, with a view of the pond and outside course in the background. The total turnout area at Black River covers 30+ acres.

The barn includes a center aisle, grooming stalls, and indoor wash stalls with heat lamps. Stalls are approximately 12'x12', all with rubber mats installed. There is also a heated and air conditioned trunk room and tack room in the barn, a heated lounge and viewing area attached to the indoor ring, an indoor bathroom, and an office. The farm is nicely landscaped and maintained, and the barns are kept clean, safe, and neat. Trailer parking is also available.
